Cookie Policy
A clear explanation of how we use cookies and your options for controlling them.
Last updated: June 25, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as keeping you logged in — and can improve your experience on return visits. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, and browser fingerprinting; we do not use fingerprinting.
2. Cookies We Use on magiclead.ai
The MagicLead dashboard and marketing website use the following cookies:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-auth-token | Essential | Keeps you signed in to your MagicLead dashboard. Without this, you would need to log in on every page. | Session |
| sb-refresh-token | Essential | Renews your authentication session automatically so you are not unexpectedly logged out. | 7 days |
| ml_admin_session | Essential | Maintains the admin panel session for internal MagicLead staff only. | Session |
| __vercel_live_token | Technical | Used by our hosting infrastructure for preview deployments. Not set in production. | Session |
We do not use advertising, cross-site tracking, or social media cookies on magiclead.ai.
3. Cookies Set by the Chat Widget
The MagicLead AI chat widget can be embedded on third-party insurance agency websites. When a visitor interacts with a widget, one cookie is set on that agency's website:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ml_session | Functional | Maintains conversation continuity. Without it, the chat would restart on every page the visitor navigates to. | 24 hours |
This cookie contains only a randomly generated session identifier — no personal information. If you are an agency using MagicLead, you are responsible for disclosing this cookie in your own website's cookie notice.
4. Third-Party Services
Some third-party services integrated with MagicLead may set their own cookies. These are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies:
- Stripe — may set cookies for fraud prevention when the billing page is visited. See Stripe Cookie Policy.
- Calendly (optional, agency-configured) — if an agency connects Calendly for meeting scheduling, Calendly may set cookies when the scheduling page is embedded. See Calendly's cookie policy.
5. Your Cookie Choices
Essential cookies: The authentication cookies listed above are necessary for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled while using the dashboard.
Browser settings: You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting authentication cookies will log you out of MagicLead. Common browser guides:
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because we do not use cross-site tracking cookies, our practices are consistent with DNT preferences regardless of whether the signal is received. We do not respond to DNT signals in a technically different way.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
